Depending on the peelings at your disposal, prepare several vegetable dyes for your eggs:
- In a saucepan, bring half a liter of water to the boil.
- Add the peelings of your choice.
- Simmer for about 20 minutes. The water will colour.
- Filter the water and pour into a container.
- Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of white vinegar.
How to dye Easter eggs
- To empty the eggs, drill a small hole at each end of the egg and blow gently.
- Immerse the eggs in the dye of your choice.
- Leave to colour for at least 30 minutes.
- Remove the eggs and leave to dry.
That's all there is to it, and you've got pretty, colorful eggs!
