Our recipe for tomato tart
🔪 Preparation time: 15 min
🔥 Cooking time: 35 min
Preheat oven to 230°C.
Roll out the pastry in a tart tin and pierce the bottom with a fork to prevent it from puffing up. Pre-bake for 5 minutes, then remove from the oven.
Once the pastry is pre-baked, brush the bottom generously with the mustard. This will add great flavor to the tart.
Wash and slice the tomatoes. Arrange the tomato slices on the dough. Make several layers.
Sprinkle with herbes de Provence, add 2 pinches of salt and a drizzle of olive oil to enhance the flavours.
Bake the tart at 180°C for around 30 minutes, until the tomatoes are tender and the pastry is golden.
Serve warm or hot!
